M. Ramachandran graduated with a LL.B. (Hons) Degree from University of Buckingham, England in 1988 and obtained the Certificate of Legal Practice in 1989. He chambered under Mr. Joga Singh of Messrs V.P. Nathan & Partners from November 1989 till July 1990. He was called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate and Solicitor in August 1990. He served as a Legal Assistant in Messrs V.P. Nathan & Partners from August 1990 till December 1993. In January 1994 he joined Nijar, Kumar, Netto & Partners as a Legal Assistant and was managing the Alor Setar branch office. In August 2002 he was made a partner and after a demise of the Senior Partner Mr. R.A. Kumar in February 2004 he was managing the said firm till April 2016. In July 2016 he joined Messrs Silva Velu & Co and was a Senior Legal Assistant in the said firm till September 2016. In October 2016 he joined Messrs V.P. Nathan & Partners and is presently practising there as a Senior Legal Assistant. M. Ramachandran has vast experience in the field of civil litigation particularly in litigation for Insurance Companies in accident claims, banking litigation and other civil litigations.
