Christopher Francis graduated from the University of Wolverhampton in 1995 with an LL.B. (Hons) Degree. He obtained his Certificate in Legal Practice (C.L.P.) in 1996 and chambered with Messrs C.K. Leong & Co. and Messrs K.H. Ting & Co. He was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya on 15th November 1997. He started his practise at Messrs Dass Jainab & Partners and subsequently at Messrs S.N. Fam & Co. In 2008, he joined Messrs Othman Hashim & Co. as a Senior Associate which enhanced his experience in the field of insurance law, contract law and foreclosure matters. For a passion of continued education, in 2015 Christopher furthered his studies and graduated with a master degree in laws at the National University of Malaysia. He joined Messrs V.P. Nathan & Partners as a legal assistant in 2020. His area of law is insurance law, in both advisory and litigation and he is also experienced in handling matters relating to family, civil litigation, banking litigation, contract and criminal law. Christopher is also an sessional law lecturer at the University of Reading, Malaysia teaching Law of Tort, Law of Contract and Business Law for undergraduates pursuing their studies in LL.B. Law, Bachelors in Quantity Surveying, Bachelors in Business & Finance and Bachelors in Real Estate and also foundation programmes.
